WHAT DOES SEO STAND FOR?
It stands for Search Engine Optimization. It’s all about optimizing your website so it will rank better in search engines. To show up as high up on the list of a Google search (or any other search engine) as possible.
CAN I DO IT MYSELF?
Yes you can, you could probably get by with the basics otherwise if you’re not very tech savvy it’s well worth hiring an expert to help you out as there is so much involved to SEO! Also I’d recomment talking to an expert who could advise you about what your business would require.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
SEO is a long-term process and results are rarely immediate, it can take anywhere from between 6 months to a year before you start seeing your pages rank on Google. It also depends on your approach, if you’re only writing new content once a week and investing the minimum it takes alot longer compared to multiple weekly blog posts, regular link building and content promotion.
Keywords are important words or phrases that people would likely search for if they were looking for content you are publishing. The easiest way to add meta keywords and descriptions for your blog and web pages in WordPress is to use a plugin. The ‘All in One SEO Pack’ plugin is great for getting the job done! Once installed and activated it will show an SEO optimization box in every page and post on your WordPress website.
